2024-06-12: 911 operators received reports of a grass fire on Cosens Bay Road shortly after 12 noon Wednesday.
Smoke from the Kalamalka Park fire could be seen for kilometers.
Coldstream Fire Hall was joined by Lavington Fire Hall. B.C.Wildfire Service attended.
Two hours later there was a second fire in the area. RCMP was also at the scene.
Both fires have been extinguished
