Vernon's Canada Day Drone Show Finale Cancelled

The topper to Vernon's Canada Day weekend festivities was supposed to be a drone show in lieu of fireworks. Unfortunately, the show did not go on, disappointing hundreds of people. There is no official word yet on why the show was cancelled. Staff at the Polson Park event reportedly told some spectators that the drone equipment had been damaged, possibly by a vehicle of some kind.
