Silverstar Mountain Village Operations Disrupted by BC Hydro Power Outage
February 8th, 2024 - BC Hydro has reported that a motor vehicle accident has caused a power outage. The effects are being felt on Silverstar Mountain.
Some businesses are experiencing temporary closures until power is restored, expected by 10 pm.
Key Updates:
Tube Town will be closed for the evening.
Nordic Night Loop will be closed for the evening.
Town Hall will extend its hours for dinner service. The Den & D'Argento will remain open, while The Red Antler is closed and will resume operations if power is restored before 7 pm.
Additionally, Brewer's Pond will remain closed today.
All are working to restore power and resume normal operations as fast as possible.
