At approximately 12 PM, BX Swan Lake Fire Rescue happened upon a collision involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 97 and Meadowlark Road.
As of now, there is no information available regarding the cause of the collision, and there are no reports regarding injuries.
Emergency services, including BX Swan Lake Fire Rescue, BC Ambulance Service, and the RCMP, were present at the scene to manage the situation.
The impact of the collision resulted in the passenger side of the pickup truck being torn off, and debris scattered along Highway 97, a short distance from the accident site.
Northbound traffic on BC-97 was temporarily halted until a diversion plan could be implemented.
