Vernon Search and Rescue (VSAR) continued the search on Kalamaka Lake for missing kayaker 26-year-old Eli Buruca Saturday.
Buruca has not been seen since he was caught in a powerful windstorm on Kalamalka Lake late Monday evening.
VSARs search of Kalamalka Lake Saturday morning may have been cut short because of an unconfirmed mechanical issue with one of the SAR boats.
Teams have been on the lake all week using boats, a small drone, and an underwater ROV.
The missing kayaker's family has also been searching the waters.
