Although there are no weather alerts currently in effect for the North Okanagan, the neighboring North Columbia, and North Thompson areas have received alerts indicating an expected snowfall of approximately 15 cm.







A frontal system moving across southern British Columbia is responsible for the snowfall in the North Columbia and North Thompson regions. The forecast, issued by Environment Canada at 11:00 AM PST on Thursday, December 14, 2023, predicts that the snow will taper off later in the afternoon.
