UPDATE 2100 hours: Skilled Truckers Canada has posted unconfirmed photos from today's crash scene involving, once again, an unconfirmed collision occurred between two semis on Highway 97 West of Monte Lake.
UPDATE 1910 hours: Drive BC reports Highway 97 14 KM West of Monte Lake is closed.
Traffic is being detoured around the accident scene. There are unconfirmed reports the incident may involve a fatality.
Original Report, 1815 hours: BC Ambulance and RCMP are on scene at a serious motor vehicle incident on Highway 97, 14 KM West of Monte Lake.
The Incident happened shortly before 1800 hours. Black ice has been reported in the area.
