Lightning Rolls Thru Vernon

Mother Nature put on quite a show Thursday night. Dozens of lightning events were observed, several appearing to make ground contact.

No word yet if Thursday's thunderstorm ignited and new wildfires.

A cooler and wetter weather pattern is forecast beginning Sunday.
