UPDATE: Vernon RCMP reportedly confirms that a person pulled from Kalamalka Lake this morning has died. RCMP are in the process of confirming the victim's identity and notifying the next of kin.
ORIGINAL STORY: Monday morning Coldstream emergency responders were called to Kalamalka Beach to attend to a possible drowning. The call came in shortly after 9 AM Monday, April 17, 2023.
Upon arrival, life-saving efforts were immediately started.
Coldstream Fire Hall, BC Ambulance Service, and RCMP attended.
Unconfirmed reports say an unresponsive teen was discovered near the water's edge.
