Good news for the family and friends of a 67-year-old missing Prince George man.
John Young has been found, safe and sound.
Apparently, the PG man was found by hunters late in the day on September 30th near the "3rd Lake Recreation Site" Southwest of Logan Lake. He was reportedly in good spirits despite being without food for nine days.
Search and Rescue teams from Kamloops and neighbouring areas as well as RCMP were involved in the search.
Air resources were also used in the search. That air search was hampered by members of the public who were conducting their own searches using drones, prompting the reminder that search and rescue aircraft can not operate in the same airspace as drones.
The search took over a week and involved dozens of volunteers from many communities.
The 67-year-old was traveling from PG to Duncan via Logan Lake.
Young was reported to have been driving a two-tone 1994, Ford F-250.
