Middleton Way was closed for a short time late Friday morning so a helicopter could safely transport buckets of cement to the site where a new gazebo is being installed.
A new gazebo is being installed in McKergow Meadows located at the South West base of Middleton Mountain.
A helicopter was used to transport buckets of concrete to the construction site. Once a concrete pad is poured and cured erection of a very modern-looking gazebo will continue.
Next Thursday Middleton Way will be closed again for a short time. That's when it's expected steel beams that will become the gazebo will be airlifted to the concrete pad.
The gazebo is scheduled to be completed on May 8, 2023.
The gazebo is being installed by Mr. McKergow in McKergow Meadows as part of the Sale and Development Agreement between the McKergow family and the District.
