Grass Fire in Becker Park Above Vernon

Vernon Fire Rescue joined forces with the BC Wildfire Service to extinguish a grass fire in Becker Park.
Firefighters had to deal with warm weather and steep terrain as they fought the wildland fire.
The fire call came in around 2 pm Monday, June 5. The grass fire was out by 3:45 PM.
