Shortly before 9 PM, Vernon Fire Rescue responded to reports the gazebo in Polson Park was on fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a shopping cart inside the gazebo burning.
The fire was quickly extinguished. The gazebo appears not to have received significant damage.
