Coldstream Accident on Highway 6
Once again Coldstream Fire Hall responds to an accident on Highway 6 between Aberdeen and Kalamalka Roads November 3, 2023: Just after 12:30 PM Coldstream Fire Hall, BC Ambulance, and RCMP attended what appears to be an incident that resulted in one vehicle at least 100 meters from the road. Reports multiple people transported to Kelowna Hospital from Backcountry
Update January 24, 2023 Of the 4 victims from the 2 avalanches that occurred in the Monashee Mountain Range, South of Revelstoke, 2 have died, one remains in serious condition, 1 has been released from hospital. The 2 deceased were brothers, businessmen, from Pennsylvania. The pair were using CMH Heliskiing and their guides when the fatal McCrae Peak avalanche struck. Vernon RCMP Investigate Serious Motor Vehicle Collision On Hwy 6
December 14th 2022: First Responders attended multiple snow-related motor vehicle incidents overnight in the North Okanagan region. 6:13 am - RCMP responded to a serious collision on Hwy 6 east of Aberdeen Road in Coldstream. A westbound vehicle crossed over the center line and was struck by an eastbound 5 ton truck.
