Lavington Outdoor Pool Opening Delayed by Two Weeks

June 19 2026 - – The District of Coldstream has announced that the Lavington Outdoor Pool will not open on its scheduled date of Sunday, June 21, 2026, due to unforeseen mechanical issues discovered during the facility’s startup inspections.
Staff identified deficiencies that require immediate repairs to ensure the pool can operate safely and reliably.
The District now expects the pool to open on Monday, July 6, 2026, a delay of 15 days.
“The District appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while these repairs are completed,” officials said in a news release. “We look forward to welcoming swimmers back in early July.”
