I had a project in mind that focused on the Cariboo Wagon Road, especially the section that winds through the Fraser Canyon. It's been on the back burner for almost a decade.
My obsession with the Old Cariboo Hwy started while traveling across BC as a boy with my family in the early '60s.
Viewing the older bridge and what remained of the older roads that were visible from the new span always sparks stories. Especially from my mother who had travelled the highway moving from Quebec to BC.
Because at least 8 years have passed and I can't decide on a theme or focus for my mini-doc I decided to post the video of what remains of the Old Cariboo Wagon Road or its replacement built in the mid-20s
