A Red SUV plowed through participants and onlookers at a Christmas Parade killing at least 5 people and injuring over 40 Waukesha Wisconsin Sunday. Waukesha is a small city of about 80 thousand just west of Lake Michigan.
The incident is fluid and the number may change due to many people self-transporting to area hospitals and the seriousness of injuries.
Police have a "person of interest" in custody.

At least one police officer fired his weapon at the speeding SUV.

The incident took place on Main between Barstow and Wisconsin streets.
Condolences are pouring in from across the world on social media.
When the area is opened, the City is requesting that any items for a temporary memorial be placed at Veterans Park.
