If you live in Vernon, and youve looked at the moutains to the East, you cant help but notice there's a dusting of snow on Vernon Hill.
We all know what that means. It's time to pull out that groovy ski suit and dust off those wood skis. Maybe even change that summer rubber to beefy winter studs.
A little higher, SilverStar is expecting 4–10 cm of snow today (Monday)
On the hill, Nordic and Alpine skiing openings are coming up fast. Nordic November 25, 2022, and Alpine December 2, 2022.
Summer seemed to go on forever, droughts, and warm weather seemed to have disappeared overnight.
