Orkin Canada has released their list of the "rattiest cities in Canada", and for the 5th year in a row, Vancouver wins.
The rankings are based on information gathered by Orkin Canada between Aug 1 2020 and July 31 2021 in both residential and commercial buildings.

Rodents present a serious health risk. They spread disease both directly and indirectly, through their droppings or even bites.
According to Orkin's website, more than 10 million people have died from rodent borne diseases like the Bubonic plague, typhus, hantavirus or food poisoning over the past century.
You can make your home less attractive. Left out food, overgrown landscaping, and standing water are just a few attractants.

Deer Mouse - The most abundant mammal in North America, the deer mouse Hantavirus spread Hantavirus across the southwestern United States and infected 109 people in Canada so far.
